Editorial of Issue 39:

Dear Researchers and Esteemed Readers, Greetings,

The editorial board of the Journal of North African Economies is pleased to present to its dear readers Issue (39), which contains a distinguished collection of peer-reviewed academic research that sheds light on a range of pressing economic, administrative, and accounting issues in our contemporary world.

This issue is diverse in its themes and rich in its subjects. It begins with an in-depth study on analyzing the root causes of oil revenue fluctuations in Iraq using a rigorous scientific methodology. It also addresses several pivotal issues such as the relationship between inflation and economic growth in Iraq, the mechanisms and challenges of financing in Islamic banks, and envisioning the future prospects of the Islamic financial services industry half a century after its establishment.

The issue continues to present its research by addressing the impact of the regulatory environment on accounting information systems in Syria, the role of internal control in improving the quality of financial reports in Sudan, and the analysis of liquidity quality indicators according to international standards in Algeria. The issue also presents studies on satellite accounts for non-profit institutions and innovative methods for scheduling human resources in the health sector.

In the English-language research section, the issue presents highly important topics, including models of economic cooperation in the energy sector between Spain and Algeria, the role of leadership in implementing strategic plans in local governments in Tanzania, the challenges of employability skills in Libyan higher education, a critique of perspectives on the Mode of Production theory, and finally, the relationship between corporate governance and financial performance in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.

We hope that this issue will be a qualitative addition to the academic library, a useful reference for researchers and students, and a contribution to enriching knowledge and developing scientific solutions for the economic, financial, and administrative challenges that concern specialists and decision-makers.

The journal management extends its deepest gratitude and appreciation to all the researchers who contributed their valuable work, and to the scientific peer-review committee for their diligent efforts in evaluating the research. We ask God Almighty to grant us all success in serving science and knowledge.

And God is the Guardian of Success.
