Analysis of the relationship between military spending and economic growth (econometric study the period 2000-2022)

Résumé

The study aimed at I identifying the military spending and its relationship to economic
growth , highlighting the importance of economic growth as an indicator that reflects the
economic situation, and analyzing the relationship between military spending and the rate of
economic growth rate .is there a causal relationship between military spending and economic
growth in sudan during period 2000-2022. most important results of the study are value of the
military spending coefficient in the short term for two period was is a negative sign that means
there is an inverse relationship between spending and economic growth , are this means that
and increase in military spending by on unit leads to a decrease in economic growth.the value
of the coefficient of military expenditure rate(B1)is negative , and this means that decrease in
the rate of military expenditure by one leads to increase in economic growth in sudan
