Challenges of the monetarypolicyused in Algeria in achievingeconomicstabilityduring the period 1990-2020

Abstract

This study aims to know the extent of  theconstribution and ability of the monetary policy used in Algeria to achieve  economic stability during the study period  between  1990-2020, espcially in an economic environment that depends almost completely on fuel   revenues.

And when studiying, it became clear to us that the use of the monetary  policy  by the bank of Algeria  knew  many challenges, on the one hand the bank  followed a deflationary monetary policy to reduce inflation and on the other hand there was a slowdown in economic growth  rates  accompanied by a rise in unemloyment rates.
