The present study aims to explore the relationship between per capita gross domestic product and life expectancy in Algeria during the period (1990-2021), Moreover, the study seeks to adress the following question: What is the impact of per capita gross domestic product on the development of life expectancy in Algeria? In pursuance of this aim, study concepts were addressed and described statistically, as well as the formulation and construction of the standard model for the relationship between the variables of the study. The latter is conducted through relying on estimating the relationship according to the simple linear regression model. Consequently, the obtained results revealed that there is a strong direct correlation between per capita GDP and life expectancy in Algeria during the set period, additionally, the study concluded that an increase in per capita GDP by $1 will increase life expectancy by 0.002.
