Abstract

Nowadays the cultural translation has an important role in the field of the translation studies
because of the importance of the cultural aspect in the communication process, we often look
for a cultural equivalent in the target language for a word or text that carries a cultural
significance in the source language, such as Zakat, Hajj, Omra, Alfathiha... Thus the role of
the translator goes from having a good mastery of the two languages to understanding the two
cultures: the culture of the author and the culture of the translation reader. Through this study
we try to shed light on the mechanisms of cultural translate, and highlight the role of
the translator with an indication of the most important obstacles he faces during this
process. Through this research paper, we find out the difficulty of translating of the
cultural element which is due to the difference of cultures from one society to another,
and this is what makes it difficult for the task entrusted to the translator.
