Regional allocation in plant production in the regions of the High Plateaus region in Algeria and its most important agricultural crops

The research is concerned with studying the agricultural specialization of plant production in the regions of the High Plateau region in Algeria. The study found regions specialized in the cultivation and production of vegetables, grains and fruit trees. It was found that all regions of the region (Setif, BordjBouArreridj, Oum El Bouaghi, Batna, Khenchela, Tebessa, Djelfa, Laghouat, M'sila,Tissemsilt, Tiaret, Saida, Naama, and Bayadh) have an increase in the cultivated areas of vegetables, and they have a very good climate suitability, while the areas of agricultural specialization for the cultivation and production of winter grains (hard and soft wheat and barley) include the regions (Tiaret, Oum El Bouaghi, Batna, Tebessa, Khenchela, Setif, BordjBouArreridj, Laghouat, Saida), which have good climatic suitability, and then there are areas of agricultural specialization for the cultivation and production of fruit trees. The regions include (Setif, BordjBouArreridj, Batna, Tissemsilt, Djelfa) and they are moderately climatically suitable.
