Analysis of the logistics performance of the Euro-Mediterranean countries Reality and challenges

Abstract

  This research paper aims to analyze the logistics performance of the countries of the Euro-Mediterranean space on both its northern and southern shores, as well as to identify its reality and the most important challenges it faces.

   To achieve this, we used the Logistics Performance Index  LPI for the year 2023 issued by the World Bank, which is based on six sub-indicators for measurement. We have found that there is a very large disparity in logistics performance between the two shores of the Mediterranean, as European countries show strong performance indicators while the performance of Arab countries ranges between average and weak, and this is due to a set of challenges they face, including security, economic and technological
