Abstract

This research paper aims to highlight and analyze the vision of the thinker Mohamed Abed Al-Djabri  of the reality of civil society in the Arab world in light of the prevailing political systems and their characteristics. And  how to establish a real civil society.

This study concluded that the concept of an Arab civil society has not yet crystallized. Because the formation  of  civil society needs  the combination of many factors that reflect the political, economic, social, and cultural reality of the society in which it exists and is formed. So, it is not possible to talk about replicating the idea of civil society in the Western style and the possibility of applying it without the availability of its components in Arab countries.
