Abstract

Arab scientists have excelled in several sciences, including mechanics, These innovations have resulted in various technical applications, They appeared in various means and devices that were used in everyday life, An example is astrolabe machines for studying the motion of the spheres ,Water pumping machines based on hydraulic power, Clocks for measuring time, And other scientific branches that were included under the science of mechanics, This technical knowledge was accompanied by a theoretical knowledge of the laws of mathematics and physics, This is what made the scientific civilization in Islam characterized by the phenomenon of combining theoretical and Applied Science, and Combining different sciences and using their results to serve each other.
In view of this situation, we wonder what lessons can be accessed through our study of mechanics among Arabs, and What are the factors that favored the creativity of its researchers in the past and its stagnation today?
