Strategic leadership and its impact in the sustainable economic dimension of the tourism industry - an exploratory study of the opinions of a sample of managers in the Iraqi Tourism Authority

Abstract:
Our current study aims to know the impact of the dimensions of strategic leadership together، represented by (strategic direction، balanced organizational control، human capital development، organizational culture، and ethical practices); In the environmental dimension of the tourism industry for leaders in the Iraqi Tourism Authority، as well as diagnosing the level of interest of leaders in the Tourism Authority with the variables of the study (dimensions of strategic leadership together، the sustainable environmental dimension of the tourism industry) and statistically، with the aim، in addition to conducting personal interviews that were conducted with officials in The Authority، that the problem of the study centered on the following main question: (What is the impact of the dimensions of strategic leadership together on the sustainable environmental dimension of the tourism industry، in the Iraqi Tourism Authority). The study reached a number of results، including that the dimensions of strategic leadership that have a moral impact are the dimension (practices Ethical) As for the remaining dimensions، which are (strategic direction، balanced regulatory control، human capital development، and organizational culture)، the results showed that they had no significant impact on (the sustainable environmental dimension of the tourism industry).
