Stylistics and linguistics between the intermingling of theorizing and the contrast ofanalysis

This study aims to clarify the functional difference in the analysis between linguistics andstylistics, considering that the latter branched off from linguistics, so we will try to present the most importanthigh functional relationships between the two sciences and prove the efforts of both the stylisticcritic Michael Riffaterre and the French stylistic theorist: Georges Mouliné, whichsought touncover the reasons for the apparent confusion between the two analyses: stylistics and linguistics, by understanding the nature of the dependence of stylistics on linguistics first, and then explainingthe initiative of Michael Riffaterre, the pioneer of contextual stylistics, in his precedenceincorrecting this confusion scientifically and objectively, since the Arab critical arena was coveredby a clear fog that prevented the distinction between the function of the stylistics and the functionof the linguistics.
